Los parches o cremas para la menopausia podrían ser más seguros que las píldoras

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 08:08:49 GMT

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — A judge in Argentina on Monday dismissed a long-running money laundering case against Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, after prosecutors and state agencies said there was no evidence she was involved in a crime.Federal Judge Sebastian Casanello ruled that Fernández de Kirchner be removed from what had come to be known as the “K money” case because it involved alleged kickbacks and money laundering on behalf of the Kirchner family by businessman Lázaro Báez.Prosecutor Guillermo Marijuan said late last month there was no evidence that Fernández de Kirchner, a former president (2007-2015), was involved in the corruption for which Báez has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Báez was close associate of both Fernández de Kirchner and her late husband and predecessor, Nestor Kirchner, who was president from 2003-2007. OMAHA, Neb. But most of those railroads — which include CSX, Union Pacific, BNSF, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Kansas City — are still negotiating with a number of their unions. Most of the sick time deals, including the one Norfolk Southern announced for yardmasters Monday, provide four days of paid sick time and give workers the option to convert three days of personal leave time into sick days. The conductors and engineers who endure the most unpredictable schedules while operating the trains have been getting five days of paid sick leave with the ...

Eva Kaili is back with a new story: There’s a conspiracy

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 08:08:49 GMT

ATHENS — Eva Kaili is spinning up a new, eyebrow-raising narrative: Authorities might have targeted her because she knew too much about government spying. After months of silence during her detention and house arrest, the most high-profile suspect in the cash-for-influence Qatargate scandal was suddenly everywhere over the weekend. Across a trio of interviews in the European media, the Greek European Parliament member was keen to proclaim her innocence, saying she never took any of the alleged bribes that authorities say countries such as Qatar and Morocco used to sway the Brussels machinery. But she also had a story to tell even darker than Qatargate, one involving insinuations of nefarious government spying and suggestions that maybe, just maybe, her jailing was politically motivated. Her work investigating the illegal use of Pegasus spyware in Europe, she argued, put her in the crosshairs of Europe’s own governments. “From the court file, my lawyers have discov...
